Though Romeo's has the fundamentals to make for a great restaurant, there is some definite room for improvements. The restaurant requires a better way to receive reviews from customers. The restaurant is the first restaurant that the owners have had; therefore, they need a way to retrieve reviews with constructive criticism. This way they will know what they are doing well and what requires improvements. A database would be more beneficial to store this data because it can more easily transform that data into information. It can keep all of the information in one area, while being able to present it in a variety of useful ways.
Based on this database, the owners will be able to discover what their most popular dishes are, who their strongest servers are, and what their weaknesses are. Most specificly, this restaurant struggles with the amount of time it takes to cook all of the menu items. Tables often have to wait an unpleasantly long amount of time for their food to be prepared. This is key to keeping customers both satisfied and loyal. As the employees know that they may constantly be reviewed, they are more motivated to consistently do a good job. However, this is not only useful to the owners, but also for the customers. The customers will feel as though their stories will be heard and that their input counts.
